The Competition Commission of India has given the green light for Torrent Power's acquisition of Nabha Power from L&T Power Development, worth approximately INR 6889 crores. This deal expands Torrent Power's capacity to a total of 6.4 GW and raises expectations as Nabha Power reported a revenue of INR 4866 crore in the fiscal year 2025.
