The company also posted an increased loss before tax for FY26, totaling INR 3,291.5L. In Q4 alone, the pre-tax loss amounted to INR 1,315.7L, with a substantial portion of expenses, approximately INR 1,712.8L, attributed to legal and arbitration efforts.

HCL Infosystems has secured a refund of INR 26.35 crore in VAT, credited by Rajasthan authorities, related to taxes levied on batteries accompanying mobile phones between the years 2009-12.
