Marc Pilgrem is leaving his position as CEO of JioBlackRock to return to BlackRock. Swapnil Bhaskar has been appointed as the new leader for this joint venture between Jio Financial and BlackRock.

In a significant transaction, approximately 2.68 million shares of JioFin were sold at ₹232.5 each in a single deal, amounting to a substantial value of around ₹62.2 crores.

Goldman Sachs has invested in Jio FinServices by purchasing approximately 2.68 million shares at ₹232.6 each. This move underscores the global bank's confidence in India's digital financial services sector.

Jio Financial Services is set to debut in the insurance sector by 2026, but they're not focusing on consumer loans for now, such as unsecured or loans for durable goods.
